This Shipping Policy explains how Prisme Vintage (“we,” “us,” “our”) ships orders placed on our website. We ship from Geneva, Switzerland via Swiss Post to the EU and the UK.
1) Processing time
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed.
During drops, processing may take slightly longer due to order volume.
You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking once your order ships (when available).
2) Shipping destinations
We currently ship to:
- Switzerland
- European Union (EU)
- United Kingdom (UK)
If your country isn’t available at checkout, we do not ship there at this time.
3) Shipping rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and package size/weight.
Any promotions for free or discounted shipping will be shown at checkout and may have conditions.
4) Delivery time estimates
Delivery times are estimates and start from dispatch (not order date). Typical delivery ranges:
EU: 2–7 business days
UK: 3–9 business days
Delivery may take longer during peak periods, customs processing, weather disruptions, strikes, or carrier delays.
5) Tracking
Where offered by Swiss Post, orders include tracking. Tracking updates can take 24–48 hours to appear after dispatch.
6) Customs, VAT, duties & import fees (important)
Prisme Vintage ships from Switzerland (non-EU). For EU and UK customers, your order may be subject to:
- import VAT
- customs duties
-brokerage/handling fees
These charges are set by your country and carrier and are typically payable by the recipient. We do not reimburse or refund import VAT, customs duties, or handling/brokerage fees under any circumstances. Customers are responsible for checking potential import charges before ordering.
If you refuse to pay import fees and the parcel is returned or abandoned, we may be unable to refund the order in full. Any refund (if possible) may have shipping/return costs deducted.
7) Address accuracy
Please ensure your shipping address is complete and correct at checkout (including door code, apartment number, and phone number if requested by the carrier).
If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect/incomplete address:
- we may charge additional shipping to resend it, or
- we may refund the item price minus shipping and return costs (where applicable).
8) Undeliverable, refused, or unclaimed parcels
If a parcel is refused, unclaimed, or returned due to customer-related reasons (e.g., missed delivery attempts, failure to collect, refusal to pay import fees), we are not responsible for the outcome. Any refund (if possible) may exclude shipping and may be reduced by return/handling costs charged to us.
9) Lost, delayed, or damaged shipments
Delays: We’re not responsible for carrier delays, but we’ll help you investigate with tracking information.
Damage: If your package arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of:
- the outer packaging
- the shipping label
- the item and damage
Loss: If tracking shows the parcel is lost, we’ll open an investigation with Swiss Post. Resolution times vary.
10) Signature & safe delivery
For high-value orders, we may require signature on delivery or additional delivery verification. If the carrier marks an order as delivered to the provided address, we may be unable to issue a refund.
